Pledge of Loyalty
I do solemnly pledge my undivided loyalty to God and to my country, that I shall always continue to search for the truth, goodness and usefulness, for which my Alma Mater the Ilocandia Liberty Bible Baptist Institute stands for;
That I will devote myself in the promotion and furtherance of the Gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ to people everywhere; that I will be ready and willing to serve God anywhere He leads me.
That I will strive to live in accordance to God's will with the highest Christian ideals and doctrines for which great Christians lived and died for; and I pledge my utmost performance to bring glory to God and honor to my beloved Alma Mater.
Understanding Our Pledge
Loyalty to God and Country
Our first commitment is to God, recognizing Him as the ultimate authority in our lives. We also pledge loyalty to our country, the Philippines, as faithful Christian citizens who contribute positively to society.
Search for Truth
We commit to continuously seeking truth, goodness, and usefulness as exemplified by our Alma Mater. This involves lifelong learning, studying God's Word, and growing in wisdom and understanding.
Gospel Ministry
Central to our pledge is the commitment to promote and further the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. We promise readiness to serve God wherever He leads, whether at home or abroad.
Christian Living
We pledge to live according to God's will, upholding the highest Christian ideals and doctrines. This means following the example of faithful Christians throughout history who sacrificed for their faith.
Glory to God
Our ultimate goal is to bring glory to God and honor to ILBBI through our lives and ministry. This pledge reminds us that our success is measured not by worldly standards, but by our faithfulness to God's calling.
A Lifetime Commitment
This pledge is not just recited at graduation—it represents a lifetime commitment that guides our graduates throughout their ministry and Christian service.
